Finally made Gold Whoooooaaaaa !!!

Finally had my account upgraded to gold today !!!!

Took several months of wrangling to get old partner miles and TP's credited and get the upgrade backdated, but perseverance paid off and FC have manualy changed me to gold

Now only 30 needed to keep it ! Need to book some more flights

I felt like that a year or so back.

As Nottingham Nick says, now is the dilema.

To renew for a 3rd year I have just booked a tortuous route to BLR via DEL for work, even coming back on an 'S' (hoping and praying that a 'G' will become available). I needed 8 TP's and if I flew on hols I would probably only get 6 (as this current trip is a one-off in U/C with the family).

Amazing really, when you analyze what you get for Au it isn't much, but it is incredible the lengths we go to in order to keep it.
