So NY return is 87 plus 212 taxes/fees including tier points and miles - hardly seems worth the hassle of loading the meals. I guess a fair whack of the 212 is fuel surcharge and someone has to pay for the weight of the aircraft.

99 for an o/w inbound upgrade to PE sounds good.

I've just bagged a 43 upgrade inbound from Bos next Easter!(yes easter week!!) so o/b UC(LAX) and i/b (BOS) PE for 1087 instead of 1044 for i/b Economy :D
i'd spend more than 43 on excess baggage charges

gotta love the sale

I can bag a 268 upgrade to PE from LHR-MCO if I want! Don't think I'll be taking them up on that, although it's only 223 coming back.

Can't believe it costs less to fly at least twice the distance to say SFO than to Orlando!
