A couple of questions from me in preparation for my forthcoming trip -
Can anyone tell me what the Premiere Lounge is like at CPT? Food, drinks, views, showers, wi-fi etc? I gather it's after security but have no more info.
Is there fast track security at CPT?
What is the duty free like at CPT? Will I be able to buy any decent SA wine?
Thanks

Link to the SA Duty Free website

Whenever I have brought wine home from South Africa, I always buy it from a normal shop and then pack it in my suitcase to travel home (using lots of clothes to pad around the bottles). Wine is so cheap in SA, that you will hardly save anything by buying it in duty free - unless your suitcase is already full! [;)]

Thanks Tink.
Weight is indeed my problem. I assumed I'd be entitled to the new 3x23kgs allowance as this had been announced a while before I was ticketed. I have spoke to Premier who say 'no' I get 30kg total as I booked the ticket before the changeover comes into operation (and which has been since put back ).Conflicting advice on different websites still though [:?].
Anyway I've been told by the same Premier CSA that anything over 30kgs will be charged at 30+ per kilo [:(!] and classed as excess baggage. Obviously I can't carry bottles of wine in my hand luggage as they'll be over 100mls so buying in duty free (or shipping back to the UK) is my only real option.
