Picked up my 14 bottles of Piper today. Bottles all over the store on shelves.

Our local Nottingham Morrison's had run out, but the one at Sutton in Ashfield had loads of Bolly. [;)][8D]

For those that missed out - there is a 40% off coupon at Thresher's that is hitting the headlines.

It is getting a mixed reaction FT but 40% off all wine and champagne sounds good to me.

To be fair the thread in question was more to do with elitist comments that might put people off posting joining or continuing to use this wonderful site. I seem to remember my highbrow/elitist remarks were not well recieved by your goodself on one of my trippies and that even came with a caveat that I was only joking and for readers to read it in the form of parody. Like you say a sense of humour was required but only for yourself it seems.

Back on topic, thanks for the heads up, I will go see if there is any Bolly left at the Harrogate store it will come in handy for staff gifts.

I've heard a rumour of a further 25% off if you buy 6 or more bottles. Certainly for wine, not sure if it is extending to Fizzies.
