And do not worry about any Y pax sitting at the bar - PE customers who used to try and sit there got sent back to their seats so the same will happen again.

Sounds all very nice Tinks - but when you've paid for a UC seat do you really want to be asked, when sitting at the bar, 'can you show me your stub' (no jokes GJ!). Or are crew going to develop photofit faces for all 43 pax on the upper deck.

Nope, UC Upper Deck is now a complete no go zone!

You only need to remember the faces of the 10 sat on the Upper Deck - that's what we used to do when there was PE upstairs. You would only ask someone sat at the bar where their seat was if they weren't recognised as being from J upstairs or downstairs. It always used to work OK so I have no doubt that it will do again.

At which point you should be thrown immediately from the plane, sans parachute. [V]

Now now, you should't say such things.

Well considering PE hasn't been upstairs for a while, I would say the website is wrong [:D]

Erm Dave, woggles said that the seat plan is showing all UC on the top deck, nothing mentioned about PE being up there[ii][:w]

The new config is meant to come in from March time, although it could be a few months before all the a/c have been changed so the seat plan could still be correct, but I imagine there is a good chance it will change at some point before the flight.

I'm keeping a watchful eye for our August booking. I have shifted both legs to downstairs at the front, but I guess if the a/c configuration changes then it'll all be up for grabs again...

Neil, remember that our Dave drinks a little. And then he posts. Plenty of examples to point to on that front...

Thank god the guru's pointed this out to me for my flights to SFO and from LAX in August - definitely going in the nose section now!

Might also account for why it was so hard to get reward seats on the flights this year vs last!!
