.....if the flight is not full what's to stop you using it without having to buy the extra half seat! ....

If the flight is overbooked, will they want your spare seat? [:?]

Nope, it's your seat bought and paid for, I am sure that the bean counters at NZ sat down and crushed the numbers and figured that there were enough seats flying empty to make this pay over the long run.

Virgin take note

There was a time when airlines in our position could imagine six to seven years between product refurbishments, these days customers are so impatient for new developments that we think, realistically, that product cycles should be closer to three to fours years. Ed Simms

Can we expect some upper class innovations...ummm no.

It all looks very good.....but.....at the least PE an Economy are going to take extra cleaning and that's where it can all fall down, will that mean extra staff or extra time? Either are going to cost more and we all know who pays for that.

The couch in economy is going to be very restricted if the person in front reclines their seat [B)]I think you'd have to lay down 'head to toe' to get any benefit from this arrangement[|)]

I'm sounding like a grumpy old g*t aren't I. [V]

Oh dear, what about the mile-high club[:w]

'I'm sorry sir, due to a family who have not pre requested their seats, we have moved you to 33A, 36C and 38D'

I would guess they will be treating this block of seats as a separate cabin, meaning they cabin only move people to the same type of seats.
