Apologies if covered elswhere, but I'm looking at flying to Singapore on a VS booked ticket - Will I be able to use the LHR CH. I know I can't if I book direct with Singapore Ailines, but what if I book the VS codeshare ticket through the Virgin Website?

Thanks in avance!

I'm fairly sure that if the flight on your ticket+boarding pass has a VS flight number (even if it is a code-share operated by someone elses metal - SQ in this case) then you can can use the LHR Clubhouse.

It would also depend on the class of travel I think - i.e. SQ UCS equivalent I'm guessing? Don't think an SQ Y would do....[:w]

If the OP is VS Au?

I am interested in the definitive answer to this one - I had assumed that since the removal of SQ J & F/Suites entitlement to the CH I had assumed that the same would apply to the codeshare. I can't remember but do VS codeshares even appear on the board in the CH? That might be an indication one way or another, even if not definitive.

Thanks for the feedback. My understanding was that the key issue was the VS flight code, but we shall see...Currently sitting in IAD CH, will send a Trip report later!

Well, I tried to book flights for Mid March to Singapore on a VS ticket. Price was shown at around 750, tried to book and at the end of the process advised that seats not available. I tried a bunch of different options, all with the same outcome. Not sure that Virgin are really serious about this codeshare (despite the advertising). Ended up booking on the same flight, but direct with Singapore Airlines. It also cost over 100 less than with VS....

I have been told that the VS tickets on the SQ codeshare flights sell out very quickly so it may have bneen no more than that thety are popular rather than VS not being serious about it.
