I know I have been absent from the forums since my son was born, but I am in need of some thoughts and prayers for him and I truly believe that the more people are pulling for him, the better.
Today is his first birthday and he is currently in the intensive care unit hooked up to a hemo-filtration machine. I truly don't know how we got to this point & I am beside myself. Theo was sick, and started antibiotics and I thought he was getting better, but he was getting dehydrated. He went into the hospital on Thursday and I expected that after getting some fluids he would be on the mend. It turns out he has an infection in his blood and it is compromising his kidneys. We have moved hospitals twice and he is now in a PICU unit. We were sent home for a bit as he is stable and we need to shower, get some things, etc. and I am just trying to get the word out to as many people as possible so that he can get as many healing thoughts as possible.
Anyone who can spare a thought or a prayer for my baby, I appreciate it so much. He's a strong boy, and a fighter, and I pray he will get through this and be back home soon. Will keep you posted when I can.
Thank you so much.
