Hi
This maybe a bizzare question.[:I]
Is it possible to have a 'black mark' against my name on my Flying Club account? I have Gold but seem to get a negative experience every time I fly be it at the check in or on board.
Or am I being paranoid?[?]
thanks
M

I wouldn't say yours is a bizarre question, but it's perhaps a little unrealistic to think that VS would be passing on the advice to flight crews and other VS staff to be certain to heckle and otherwise irritate good old mcb73 on his flight today.

If you share what issues and concerns you've had, and how VS has responded to them, I think our fellow V-Flyers will have a go at giving you their thoughts.

Probably not but I can understand your question, I often have wondered why it is always specifically me on any route that they ask if I mind not having my meal choice, without fail.

LOL, yes, I used to wonder whether I too had been marked down, especially when reading stories of Au's in PE given glasses of champagne and welcomes by FSMs. Now I know these are simply urban myth and nothing to do with me! I hope [:#].

You definitely haven't been black marked - there isn't such a thing. However when needing to pick someone to ask to have a different meal, after skipping past Gold Card holders you do often end up asking the nicest person in the cabin as they always seem much more approachable than others.

Hmm maybe I should just act like a curmudgeonly git then? (anyone who is thinking they want to add 'old' to that better not!)

I hope staff on their free trips are at the bottom of the list for their first choice in this situation!

Staff are the first ones that we ask to choose another meal - or we take everyones order first and then offer whatever we have left over.

Whenever I fly I always take my own food with me just so I know I can eat something on the flight. [:)]
