I'm sure this may of been asked before..

If I keep buying a few miles every now & then (via tesco's) will the account expire?
Do you need to actually take a flight to keep live

My account says expiry this Aug, or is that just the year break point.

Any pointers?

Your Flying Club account stays active for 3 years after the last miles earning (or spending) transaction. So by making an occasional purchase of miles you will reset the clock on your account for another 3 years from that date.

EDIT: Oops - didn't realise this was in the BA forum, I assumed the EC was a typo for FC. Sorry! (Even though the end answer seems to be the same, i.e. you need a mile earning or spending transaction at least once every 3 years).

It's the same for the EC though I'm not sure how you can tell that easily when that is.
