Premium Economy seat map

Is there a way of seeing the Premium Economy seat map on any given flight in advance?

Given my FC Gold status, I'm usually top of the list for any 'operational upgrades' so if flying in PE, want to choose the flight with the least number of PE seats left. However you can only view the seat map after booking.

I sometimes use sites like Orbitz (in the US) to view the seat maps in economy or UC, but I can't work out how to view it for PE. Any help gratefully received, thanks.

As Gold is NOT VS FC top tier and there are very many Gold holders these daysm for a variety of reasons not connected with flying on VS metsl, I would be be as sure you sound that you are on any top list for op ups.

None official that I know of. Both United and Virgin America do for their flights, but not VS. You have to book first.

EF does show some seat availability, but not all of them.

Out of interest, what is the top tier of FC if it's not gold?

HG has his own club [:p].

For seat maps, although not completely reliable one way is to look at the availability and seat map through Expert Flyer. I say not completely reliable, but it is usually fairly close to the actual.

If you join V-Flyer you get a bunch of free E-F searches!

I am aware of two tiers above Gold and am a member of one myself (as are other V-Flyers hey Slinky [;)])

Any idea typically how many flights/tier points you have to earn to move up from gold?

I'm likely to be earning in the region of 80 tier points p.a. for the forseeable future - will I have a shot at it?
