E-ticket question

Hi all,

I'm travelling with a friend in March, but I accidentally booked him on the same e-ticket as me, we usually do separate e-tickets because he comes up from Somerset, and we usually don't meet until airside.

Is it fine to forward him the ticket via email, and he can use it himself even though he isn't the primary passenger on the ticket?

Just want to be sure on this one, thanks.

If his name is on the ticket yes, absolutely fine. At check in they probably won't even ask for it anyway, they'll use passports or you can just go to self check-in.
