Golfing in Dubai

I am trying to put together a 2/3 night golf break in Dubai and I was wanting some advice about what is the best combination of hotel and course is.
It has to be high end with transfers between the hotel and the course if possible provided by the hotel. Are there any places that work really well?
Are there any others that should really be avoided?

Oh, if only Aer John was at home to be able to answer this as he has golfed in Dubai on two visits. What I do recall though, is that the golf was arranged by the hotel through a central location which took bookings for all the courses and gave available tee-times. He played at the Emirates course and at Dubai Creek and one at a new course which, if I recall correctly was attached to an hotel. He'll be home sometime on Friday and I'll ask him then.

He used taxis to and from the courses which was not a problem as taxis are plentiful and cheap in Dubai.

One thing to remember though is that the weekend in Dubai starts on Thursday evening and it is nigh on impossible to get a tee time on Friday. I can't remember whether Saturday was also a problem. I also recall that he went golfing at night with a shotgun start at about 8pm

I hadn't thought about the night golfing option, that could work because of the heat and also the novelty factor as something different. Luminous balls all the way!
