To be honest, it was always a struggle getting them to take a Flying Club card even when they were a mileage earner.

The missing miles claim form for Dollar is useless anyway, as VS is not listed as a partner.

I did a claim about two weeks ago, and had to contact FC about it as VS was not on the partner form, and was told I needed to write to Dollar directly (in Tulsa). I'll give them credit though, I had a reply (by email) within 3 days of posting the letter, will just have to wait and see if the miles ever make it across.

Ok I feel bad - I hired a car in DCA with Dollar, returned to IAD. Miles went on without a hitch. I didnt even realise they were a partner until after I made the booking. everyone else wanted 160 dollars, they wanted 76. miles and less cash - not bad car either, 2000 mile ford something or other

Dollar have been the preferred car hire company for Virgin Holidays for many years, I have never understood why the relationship was so stand offish, still I have never used them myself preferring Hertz.
