Hi all,

I just have a general query in terms of Virgin flights, and specifically in terms of booking a package with Virgin Holidays.

My fiancee lives in Chicago, I live in London. We want to go to the Caribbean in April. It works out cheaper for her to fly to the UK and then for us to both fly to the Caribbean as part of a package deal.

My question is, is there are leeway for the return flight to be changed for her? I.e. Can she fly back to the US from the Caribbean and me return to the UK, instead of her needing to fly back to the UK and then to the US from there?

Will Virgin look in to altering the package so that she can fly back to the US?

Many thanks

David

If she does not need to come to the UK for any reason.
Maybe you can get Virgin to quote you a package, 1 seat but double occupancy for the hotel.
Then you can book her a round trip Chicago/?Carribean/Chicago. You would probably not get a transfer to/from airport for her though.

It sounds very complicated. I can't quite work out how it can be cheaper to fly to the US and then to the Carribbean rather than flying direct fro Chicago.

I would imagine that you can't have one of you fly back to the UK and one to the US, you could just book her a flight back to the US independantely, and then not use the return part of her ticket to the UK.

You will need to call VH and explain this to them, as I don't think anyone on here will be able to give you a definitive answer.

I havent actually been able to speak to them yet .. and I think I may leave it, as my fiancee will actually want to come back to the UK and stay for a few days before she flies back to the US. Thanks again for the help
