Pete, it looks really good! y)
Hi Pete,
I have sent you an e-mail mentioning one or two things others have also pointed out, I am still having to log in again when I move around the site.
I am wearing my glasses but I cannot find the private (off topic/clubhouse area). Does it still exist?
Cheers,
David

Noticed that as well, I was closing in on 1,000 posts.

The clubhouse forum still exists, and the OT forum is now called The Galley, both are in the 'behind the curtain' section towards the bottom of the forum page.
Just done a post count update, which should reflect the actual number of posts in the database you've made.
Not 100% of posts made it over from the old site though, so it may be a little light. But hopefully not too much.

Thanks Neil, that section has just appeared on my forum board for the first time. Part of the reason might be that I keep getting logged off.
Congrats on your new position on here, by the way

If it makes you feel any better, Preiffer lost a couple of thousand posts ii)
There seems to be a certain amount of updating going on, at times I am able to see all the forums, at others just "The concourse"
I am figuring it will take a couple of days for the site to really get settled in.

That passed me by! Well done Neil! y)
Well done Pete. y)
It's never easy changing over from one format to another. I've almost forgotten what the old one looked like - that's old age for you!

Wondered how long it would take before you discovered it.
Spotted the live flight status yet?

I love that feature, and that it tells you which plane as well y)
There's a plane at JFK, to fly you back from far away
all those dark and frantic transatlantic miles

Yeap, saves having to go in to Virgin's site. y) As Slinky says, it's brilliant, you know the plane as well. y)
V-Flyer is dead. Long live V-Flyer.
It took me quite a few years to get used to the old site, so it appears that I'll be embarking on yet another vertiginous learning curve. Looks groovy though, and I don't imagine there'll be a lot of proper work being done today...

We can get better, because we're not dead yet
Looks great on iPhone: very easy to read. Look forward to having a good ol' rummage...!
Looking good Pete. Off for a quick explore now. Well done oo)
Thanks,
John.
John.
Here's a question, in the User Control Panel there's a feature to manage bookmarks of posts - which I think is a fantastic tool, for really informative stuff relevant to what you're doing. Thing is, how do you do it?

I will admit I've not tried it myself, but there should be a 'bookmark topic' link at the bottom of the page, next to the subscribe topic.

Got it, thanks - that was simply 'poster blindness'!

I really like the trip report index - that's another extremely useful tool!

Is it just me but the posts are being timestamped with CET and not GMT? ?|
