Noticed when looking at certain pages/ groups etc, shows who's also active on them, including "google[Bot]". not being knowledgeable in these areas...what is it?

I love the new site. It looks and feels great and I am having great fun learning where everything is. The aircraft database and flight status are particularly cool. I can only imagine the work that has gone into this so cheers Pete!

I can't even find the V-room ?| Can somebody point me in the right direction please? And has the calendar with advance itinerary details disappeared too?

If you look at the icons at the bottom left hand corner of the site, the chat room icon is the one with the little arrow pointing to the right on it

Actually, so far, the itinerary calendar is the only disappointment.

I can't click on a date and see all the people who are travelling where on that date ... please can we have this back?

You have to hover our mouse over each individual entry. I liked the list at the bottom of each page for today's flights and also the next couple of days

The only thing that I miss is the little plane on each users avatar in the forums that gave future flight info.

I asked for it when testing but I think the forums are pretty much set so certain things just aren't possible. Could be the reason the itinerary calendar doesn't show on the bottom of the forums, sure Pete will let us know when he has finished have drinks in t' big city

It seems there are two areas to the site - the forums and the rest. At the moment you can be logged into one only.
So if something doesn't appear - log in again!

There have been quite a few issues with logging in. It seems that the forums and the rest of the site sometimes require you to log in to both of them separately. It seems to work better if you first go to the home page and log in from there.

Still being logged out (despite David's kind suggestion). Any more ideas? It's a pain...... :(!
I do love being able to look at old posts though! One of my first was responding to a chap now known as Neil :D In those dim dark days he was looking to upgrade one way from Y to W and was being suitably encouraged by folks like EGG and I. How times have changed eh?? :D :D
I did notice that there are lots of people we don't see anymore either.

Trust me when i say, this has been and is being discussed at length.

The simple facts are, after switching to pay to post the site saw a dramatic drop in the number of people posting. At the time however the move to that format was necessary as the costs to Pete had gotten to a silly level.

This is now being revisited and once things get hashed out we will see if the pay to post stays or goes.

The other thing to keep in mind, a lot of people come here to grab a little bit of info, they hang around for a couple of weeks then move on, there is also the burn out factor, as any of the mods will tell you, there are times that hanging around a website for hours on end brings about a need for a break.

Some people come back, some don't.

So, the short story to what I just posted, we are looking at ways to increase membership without driving the costs up to a silly level again.

I was having the same issues and fixed mine by doing a full cache and cookie clear, then logging in using the one at the very top with the padlock.

It's been fine since on both Mac and PC.

Is there anywhere that tells you what flight numbers go where. (to use on the what aircraft app or for checking availabilty)

I know the ones that I use and a few of the others, but if someone wants a check on VS011 or VS045 for example, I have no idea what flight they are talking about. :|

thanks
