DL

DL

I was having the same issues and fixed mine by doing a full cache and cookie clear, then logging in using the one at the very top with the padlock.

It's been fine since on both Mac and PC.

It was cookies/cache clearance for me too which is what I had suggested to DL.

Maybe detailing the problems I was having might help others:

I was logging in on the home page and then having to log in again on forums. However, if I then went to other areas of the site I was apparently still logged in! The same thing happened if I logged directly into the forums page. Then if, instead of waiting to be redirected back to forums after the "successful log in" page, I clicked on forums I would have to log in again. Again any departure from the forums meant that I was logged off the forums when I returned.

Interestingly my Firefox was set to automatically get rid of cookies when I closed it; however, for whatever reason, this was clearly not happening. So I did a clearance of cookies and cache.

Anyway now everything is perfect and I can flit around the site to my heart's content without any trouble.

I also deleted my old bookmark and typed http://www.v-flyer.com" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank into the address bar to avoid being misdirected.

I hope that helps.
Regards,
David

Ps that was just v-flyer, not sure where the "blank target blank" came from!

I know the ones that I use and a few of the others, but if someone wants a check on VS011 or VS045 for example, I have no idea what flight they are talking about. :|

thanks

David

Just to add on from this queston, if you look at the which aircaft app, and click on the vs027, it tells you todays flight, sunday 14th departed at 13.20 and arrived at 18.01. Should that be yesterdays?

thanks again

In the Which Aircraft tool, if the drop down box had the route as well as the flight, that could solve that problem.
A second selection ordered by airport could also help.

Or perhaps a tooltip which recognises VS flight numbers and displays the route on mouseover...

I seem to be having a problem with the Itinerary calendar - have put 4 flights up and 2 are fine but 2 are wrong. Those two are showing on the wrong date in the calendar but with the correct date in the message. I.e. Am flying on 6 November but it appears on 1 November and flying 3 July and appears on 30 June.

All very confusing....

Pete, When I try to add a reply to an existing comment on someone's wall, the left hand side of the comment box is hidden by the grey site menu options. I have cleared my cookies and cache but to no avail. ?|

Won't be a cookie or cache problem, more likely something related to your browser or extensions installed. Can you do a screen shot showing what it looks like, and attach that to a post along with browser version, system type, etc?

Pete, it's probably my work laptop as my home pc is fine. The only difference is we use i.e.7 at work. I do some digging and if it's a big problem, I'll get back to you.
