Clarkson, Hammond and May, one out of the three talks some sense very rarely, the other two are his wannabe bitches. Why anyone pays attention to those muppets is beyond me.

So to answer your question, no, Audi drivers are not c###s.

Given your previous thoughts Neil, if you've gone for A5, a lovely looking car. shame its in lime green. :$

A5 was my number 1 choice, but at nearly 32k for the spec I would want (I have expensive tastes) I couldn't justify it. Not an A4 fan, so have gone for a special edition, top spec'd A3. Great little car to drive, looks the dogs and a cracking price too.

I am very much looking forward to the far more sensible (and some say realistic) Motor Programme - "Fifth Gear" returning.

I would always accept their opinions over the opinionated Clarkson & Co who seemed to have lost touch with the real world

BTW the procurement of that classic Marque shows finesse in my view

Or was the ashtray full?
It was interesting watching the Australian Top Gear - same formula just different presenters with lots of swearing!

It might be my age, but is being a c**k a GOOD thing or a BAD thing. I thought it was complimentary, in a boy to boy sort of way. ?|

Anyone who buys a car that is produced outside the UK, causing fellow UK workers to lose their jobs is a C**K yes.
Especially when UK produced vehicles beat the C**k cars hands down.

Well for a start:

Nissan - Japanese Owned

Honda - Ditto

Land Rover - Indian Owned

Jaguar - ditto

Oh, of course there is Aston Martin, an ideal run around in some people's eyes :w So in short, there is not a UK high volume maker left

.............and some Toyotas and Minis.
1.5 million vehicles are produced in the UK (oh, and 3 million engines) each year - about 850,000 jobs.

As to ownership - does it really matter?

As for Top Gear - it's an entertainment programme - with little relevance to informing people about vehicles most of us can afford.

Richard Mannion drives an Audi.

I'm saying no more, but watch the poll results with interest...

Well, I've just ordered mine for July delivery - A5 S-line special edition. However, I think it's anatomically impossible for me to be a c*ck. :)

Works for me with no issues :D You should be aware the the new Rapide is being built abroad though.

I voted yes but only because I don't like Audi, I wouldn't actually judge anyone by the car they drive.

Toyota at Burnaston as well.
Bentley and RR both German owned.

I love Audi my old man had a couple of A8s and it was a toss up between my BMW and a demo S8.

It's kinda sad for the "British" image when the largest manufacturer of cars in the UK is Nissan. Saying that, they do employ a huge number of people, have design studios in London and are exporting Qashqais to Japan, so that can't be a bad thing.

They have also just announced that the new Leaf (electric car) is going to be built in Sunderland and exported to Europe, so that along with the new Juke will keep the North east busy for a while.

I think you have to take this in the light it is meant. I have driven a BMW for years and have taken a lot of flak for it over the time - I just shrug it off. It just seems that due to the popularity of the car and some nice recent car releases that the Audi is taking over.
So don't loose sleep over it, and remember if you buy a new Audi check the glove box as you will find your licence to drive like an A&*e. - LOL.

Pete - thanks for prompting the skew there....

Time for me to start looking for a new Audi to replace my current A5, getting difficult though after an A3, S3, TT, A4, A8 and the current A5.

Like JP though, do like the look of an S8.

I voted yes but only on the basis that I see a lot of them on my commute down the M4 every morning and yes they are worse than BMW drivers now.

Right now I'm thinking of getting a CLS.
