I want to write to VS to say thanks to the absolutely superb UCS crew on VS5 on 28/3. I am a fairly seasoned flyer and have never bothered to write anything positive previously about a travel experience but i have to say ive never experienced such brilliant crew - what a stark comparision to BA.

Can anyon tell me where and who i should write to

Firstly, good on you for writing after a positive experience, all too many of us only make noises when things go wrong.

You should write to:
Virgin Atlantic Airways
The Office
Manor Royal,

It's great to hear that you had such a good flight and as Neil says helps redress the balance on the negative reports that have been appearing lately. y)

Indeed. I still owe a TR for my return flight from SFO, which was significantly better than my outbound experience, largely thanks to the great crew onboard. I will get around to it shortly.

I've asked crew before if they ever get the feedback from pax, and was told no. Any crew care to comment?

I had an exceptionally good crew experience earlier this year when I flew PE during the bad snow in January. I wrote to Steve Ridgway, the Chief Exec of Virgin Atlantic, and got a very nice reply.
I agree that its good to let them know when things are good to give a bit of balance to the letters of complaint. My reply said the crew mentioned would have my letter passed on to their manager.

This from the reply to an e-mail I sent to VS re staff

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to email, following your recent
flights with us.

Thank you for your kind comments about your experience with us recently. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your flight so much - we never tire of that sort of feedback.

We do work very hard to keep our customers happy, and knowing that we've got something right helps us continue to do this. Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.

I have passed on your comments to F****, J*** and R*** from your outbound flight and M****** from your return, I'm sure they will enjoy reading them as much as we did.

I imagine its easier to provide feedback to staff if you can give a name(s) rather than just a flight number / date and cabin

I have asked this before, some cabin crew respond and say yes, they do get the comments from their managers. Some have not. I think therefore it's down to the quality of the people managing the crew members - either that or some crew never get good comment!

Flew UC on the vs372 to MRU on 27/03 which was delayed overnight from the Friday. Likewise the UC crew were outstanding!! The best that I have ever had on a VA flight! I believe that this was down to having an excellent FSM, who worked as part of the team and not just someone who spends 12 hours on paper work like so many I've experienced in the past!

There will be a letter in the post to CS on my return! Just hope the crew are as good on my return!!
