If you click on 'The Forum' at the top left of the screen - next to 'Home' - that brings up the board index.

Scroll down - first group is 'The Concourse'
Second group is 'Behind the Curtain' - The Pub is in there, between The Galley and the Clubhouse - ii is the area used for discussing socials.

SO DO MEMBERS MEET UP ON THEIR TRAVELS ETC?

TOM

As others have said there are some social events but members do meet in other ways such as in the Clubhouse on their trips etc It has been known for a member to take another menber into the clubhouse too if they are not flying UC

Last September there were several of us on the same flight to SFO - it wasn't a pre planned group but just that several were going for the same time period. We found out by posting our itineraries - we then met up at the clbhouse for a few drinks and a natter etc

btw - please turn your caps lock off - its like yor shouting as but maybe you want to shout having found us !

For example had you been flying a day earlier in May I could have brought you in as a guest - unless your Au already and don't need anyone else that is

Unfortunately my job requires less travel than a sleeping policeman!!! Therefore I am restricted to grabbing breaks when I can, and with the price of UC lately it is usually a EC then maybe an upgrade to PE at the airport depending on the deal at check-in. Managed 1 UC to MIA last Jan and a return special from SFO after a travel consultant from Trailfinders did me the deal of a lifetime on a BOGOF, would do it every time given the chance though for sure.

Thanks for the offer DocRo,

No, you should be able to the the 'behind the curtain' area of the site. Sometimes it can be a little funny, but make sure you log in from the home page, and then click the board index at the top of the forum page and you should be able to see all forums.

If you are still having problems, I am sure Pete, the main man and V-Flyer supremo will be able to sort it out for you.

40th birthday present to self/attempt to escape the misery that is Xmas in the UK/rather fancied it. It's encouraging to hear so many positive reports from folk who've been out there. Really looking forward to it, despite the depressing 'milestone' that must be passed first...

any ideas PETE?

Just checked your permissions and you *should* be able to see The Pub forum, along with the other member ones. Start from Board Index, and it should be down the bottom of that page.
