Hi all

Just gone into my next flights to check on seats and have found that the return aircraft has changed from a 747 to a 340-300 (VS6 on 21/5) and therefore unfortunately the good seats I had snaffled had been replaced with awful ones. The only seats left together that are not facing other seats in the front section are very near the bar but they do have seats 14 & 15K free in the rear UC section. Having never flown on a 340-300, I have no idea what this section is like - are these better seats to sleep in and are they well separated from the PE section behind?

Many thanks

go for 14 and 15K even though they are not facing you are in a little "mini cabin" as the A343 has two separate cabins for UC. and the 2nd little one tends to be more quiet.

14/15/16K on the 340-300 are all by themselves facing a wall on the right hand side of the aircraft. I quite like these seats as they can be quite private compared to other seats in the cabin.

Wardrobes and curtains separate the UC cabin from PE. There is a toilet in front of 14K and a cabin crew jumpseat opposite 14K in the cabin.

I'll see if I can find any pictures on the web.

Hi, Im new to this site so I'm not sure if im posting in the right place?! I just want someone to confirm something for me. I want to know if G-VBUS had a crew reat area and where was it on the aircraft? I know this a/c is no longer in the virgin fleet so hopefully someone will remember?! Thanks in advance for your help! x

Dont forget that only a percentage of seats are available to pre-request so you could ask on the day at check-in to find a set of seats more suitable if nothing is appearing now.

Hmmm, personally I've always felt the small UCS cabin area seems to sometimes get a little "forgotten" by the CC. Personally I'd take seats further up the front - preferably away from the bar.
