Choice of BA seats

New member to the forum seeking help, please....

Two passengers travelling to Florida from LGW. Usually travel with VS in PE to MCO, but, at the time we booked, a BA Business Class flight was around the same as a VS PE fare.

So we are flying LGW to TPA on a 777.

Looking at the BA site and seatguru, this tells me that some of the seats are 'very private'. But it is quite likely that my wife and I will want to talk with each other at some stage during the flight.....and this looks to be quite difficult with some of the privacy screens

Can anyone advise on seat selection, please, so that I am ready for when OLCI opens? We would prefer one of the seats to be a window seat.

Any of the pairs of seats (A&B or J&K) will be fine. You are sat facing different directions but you can see each other very easily in these seats (almost too easily if you do not know the seatmate, hence the blind between them). With the screen down its very easy to see and talk to each other.

Try for a window pair, there should be a few at OLCI. Rows 2 and 10 have more legroom for the person sat in the B seat.

If none of these are left seats E&F are great for a couple as they are next to each other with no privacy screen. You will have to step over someones footstool to get out to the aisle though (not a problem if you are over 5'4") and you will of course have someone either side of you.
