This TR is for the Hong Kong to Sydney part of the trip.

So we had arrived in Hong Kong for the short break in our journey before getting on the plane and heading onwards to Sydney.

We found our way to the Clubhouse and were welcomed warmly and told that they had received the message from London and they were looking into seating us all together. We only had about an hour in the Clubhouse before we would need to board again so we found a seat in front of the TV and ordered some food. I had the pan fried beef salad with chilli which was just what my tastebuds needed and was delicious to say the least.

Again the service was perfect, attentive but unintrusive. The little one was getting a little restless, so I got access to the PS3 for her to play with and that kept her happy for the rest of our time there. I really like the HK Clubhouse, it's quite small, but it has a nice atmosphere and is well staffed.

Just before boarding, I was called to the desk and they had managed to move us all to row 34, I had the F seat and the girls had H and K. Perfect :)

We quickly boarded the plane through the priority channel and settled into our seats. I wasn't aware that rows 33 and 34 were extra leg room seats but the difference is very noticeable and greatly appreciated.

It turns out that there was no-one else sitting next to me for the rest of the flight. I was a little disappointed that this wasn't the night leg because I could of laid down, but I was already really happy so I settled in to read the latest Dan Brown book.

I had the pork and rice for dinner which was perfectly edible, the pork wasn't chewy and the rice wasn't over cooked. :)

Mid-way through the flight, I heard my name being called over the tannoy so I made myself known to a member of the crew and to my surprise, there were two glasses of champagne and a handful of chocolates being handed to me as a welcome back on board offer. :) y)

The rest of the flight was uneventful, I enjoyed the Dan Brown book, we were given priority passes for the security and customs in Sydney just before disembarking the plane and my bags had been UC tagged so they came off almost as soon as we went to collect them.

Another fantastic trip in my book.

I love the champagne and chocolates touch. I love the Hong Kong CH, the showers are lovely and the service first class.
