A colleague of mine who's a nervous flyer prefers to be seated over a wing - she is worried that the seat she has managed to pre-assign may be changed without prior notice. Can anyone tell me what the chances are of this happening? Her flight isn't for another couple of months. ?|

(In my years of travel I have always had the seat I've pre-assigned)

Well, nothing is cast-iron, but the reasons for turfing your colleague out of a pre-selected seat is normally only for config changes.

Worth keeping an eye on the Manage My Booking page on the VS site though, as config changes can happen.

The best way to ensure pre-assigned seats is to do OLCI at least 13 hours before check-in. After that all bets are off. Get her to check in on-line as soon as OLCI opens as possible

Thanks guy for such quick response! I will pass on your comments - not sure whether she's on a VS flight.

Thats why I like this site - fast helpful info from the members! ^)
