At least this time it wasn't a technical fault, it must have been one hell of a storm[V].

I noticed this earlier, one thing that worries me is that storm must have come along very fast. The 737-200 is an old aircraft and as such is not really equipped to land in bad weather (limited/no ILS).

This was the airlines only aircraft, it was produced in 1974 but only came to TANS last year Link

Slightly off topic but what a fascinating if geeky site - now I see that Virgin have had 13 346s with another 8 to come ... didn't realise there were so many!
