Sorry folks, 2nd question in 10mins!

If this is the wrng place, very sorry!

As before, VS003, 25/5/10, to JFK.

Got a great rate on hire car from Virgin, whening booking Upper Class ticket.

Which actual car rentasl company do virgin use at jfk? Can't seem to get a confirmed answer on this, as I am looking to hire a 'different' car, as I going to wedding and will be using the car to transport some of the wedding guests.

Cheers

Hi All,

25/5/10, VS003, JFK, Upper Class (look at me go, first time I've actually paid for it!)
30/5/10 VS022, IAD to LHR, Upper Class.

Virgin have given me a great rate for car hire for this trip, but I'm slightly confused as Virgin's car partner is Alamo, BUT Alamo do not have a rental site at JFK! Does anyone have any experience of booking car hire at JFK with Virgin and what car company did you end up getting by booking with Virgin.

Thanks All!

I would suggest you call VS and speak to someone there to get a fully accurate answer. As you rightly say, Alamo are now the car partner for VS in the USA, but they don't have a depot at JFK. I have read on the internet that National handle any Alamo customers at JFK, but that might not be the case with VS, as they might have other arrangements in place, so a call to VS should clarify everything.

Thought I would give you an update, spoken to Virgin again....

They now will not do a car hire booking from JFK....as there isn't an Alamo at JFK.

Thought that bit of info may be useful to some!

Cheers

Hi all

I had booked a car to be collected in Manhattan on the 3rd July.
Just had a call from Virgin to say that I now have to collect from JFK. Now thats not an issue, but who do they use at the airport? It was Alamo in Manhattan, but I remember reading that at JFK it was another company.

And finally, can I use the on lin e thing at JFK for car hire?

Many Thanks

Phil
