All set for the VS200 flight tonight, but have a few last minute Q's regarding the trip.
Firstly, is there a smoking room available at the Hong Kong Club House, or can anybody advise me where a smoker at HK can go for a fix of nicotine?
On arrival in Sydney, do UC pax get fast-tracked through immigration, or do you have to queue with everyone else?

Many thanks for any info!

Smoking at HKG: Easy, don't panic. Get to Clubhouse, dump your stuff. then down stairs- head right, about 100 yds, and a smoking room on left (just after shops). Loads of time and can watch the gate from the Balcony in CH, so you know when can nip for another crafty one, before boarding.
Its very small and like being in a fish tank (with large floor to sealing window), as such you don't want to take your bags with you.

Yes you get fast-track at Syd, and works well, again depends on Pax numbers arriving at same time, we sailed through in Nov.

Many thanks for the replies! :D
Am glad to report that I'm not the smoker, but my travelling companions are!
Currently sitting in the LHR Clubhouse, after having some lovely snacks and with equally attentive service fromn the CH staff.
Really hope my onward flight is as good as this CH experience, don't ever want to fly Y again!
Now, time for another glass of Lanson methinks .......:D :D

Have a great trip. I love the HKG clubhouse - the showers are lovely and sorbet with a glass of champagne always hits the spot! It's a pity that you don't transit for longer. Fast track at SYD usually works too.

DL the Elder will be livid to be labelled a smoker :0 . She berates the cigar chomping stepfather mercilessly about his "filthy habit". Glad the CH has been stellar tonight - have a glass or two for me.
This is the slippery slope I'm afraid............ ): ):
