We're booked on a BA flight (booked last October) LHR-Athens-LHR out 24/5 and back on 7/6, and now seeing the looming possibility of a 10 day strike slap bang in the middle of our travel dates, I wanted to try and look at which flights out of LHR (and Athens) were cancelled owing to the strike recently? I got hit last time but didn't think to try and get a list of which flights were cancelled.

So, does anyone know of an accurate(ish) list of which flights were strike-hit last time???

Thanks.

PS: BA, I will never fly with you again after this - you, as an organisation (management and coal-face staff), simply cannot be relied upon to deliver against a booking (irrespective of "who's to blame" - I don't really care who is!)

Viz,

Can you tell me the source of this information? I'll be travelling home from the States on the 23/5 ... Unfortunately BA is the only access (bar a 5hr train journey or 6 ish hr car journey) that we have from Newcastle...

Thanks. M.

BA cabin crew have vote "overwhelmingly" for further strike action. Thanks a lot guys (crew and BA mgt)y) .

It's now pretty obvious, with the likely strike dates, that with the recently employed rolling 2-3 day strike + 1 or 2 week gap then 2-3 day strike etc that you're going to kill my family's one and only holiday this year. Thanks SO much. :(!

Viz,

Luckily I changed my inbound flight to LHR to the 16th for a completely different set of reasons and so hopefully will have avoided the first day of the strike... Just wondering what will greet me on my return..

Hopefully they will come to their senses ...

Does anyone know how the mechanics of cancelling my BA booking would work; at what point do BA allow me to cancel so I can sort out the wreckage of our holiday with another carrier?

- Is it at the point where the strike dates are announced (but by whom?)?

- Do BOTH legs of my return flights have to be impacted before I'm allowed to cancel the whole booking?

- Or is it only when BA choose to elect to officially cancel one/both legs of my booking - which in theory could be late enough to prevent me from finding an alternative carrier?

Grateful for any experiences/info on this... :(

Thanks.

As a postscipt, events for us unfolded as follows;

We were able to re-book our outbound flight to go out 2 days earlier, and we had to rebook our return flight too - ended up on an earlier BA flight on the same day as originally booked. Thank god for Skype/wifi etc in the villa.

Cheers.

Viz,

Glad you managed to get away! I rebooked my flight up to NCL to the 18.10, not relishing the eleven hours I'd have to spend at LHR, only to find a few days before I was due to fly back that they'd reinstated my original flight so was able to rebook onto that with no problem!
