After a short detour via Boots, headed off to the BA Terraces lounge. It is now only on the 4th floor, and it seems that the 3rd floor one has been completely emptied out - wonder if anyone else is going to take it over. Also, the first lounge seems to be smaller now as the Club Terraces has been extended. It was still breakfast service when I got in there (11.50), although they were just clearing it away. As soon as the lunch stuff was bought out, there was a mad rush by the delayed long haul passengers to get food!
Flight came up boarding on time, and it was a short walk to the gate. Boarding hadn't actually started and when it did there was a big scrum - no priority boarding at all!
It is a short flight to Bordeaux, and so there is only a cold salad as food. On the outbound flight, it was chicken salad with a mango and chilli salsa dressing - it was very spicy indeed!! Dessert was a Lily O'Brien chocolate! Washed down with some chilled champagne (naturally). There were only 7 people in 7 rows of Club Europe - everyone else was in a A/C seat and I managed to nab 1F a few days before the flight. Service was very attentive and efficient on the flight.
All too soon, we were arriving in a grey and overcast Bordeaux. Security was very fast.....unfortunately the bag wasn't tagged priority and therefore came out after a lot of other bags had arrived.
Overall, a pleasant flight with good service indeed.
