I didn't see thisposted yet. Key points:

- new seating in all classes arriving with the A333s
- looks like confirmed that the first two aircraft wil be PE and Y only, but interesting that the A333s will be introduced on LAX and JFK routes too
- seems to confirm growth at LGW and MAN but no mention of GLA
- new in flight internet
- more of the usual comments agin BA/AA and runways etc.

Am I blind? I can't see where it says there will only be a 2-class config on the first deliveries.

Any help?

I read elsewhere on Business Traveller that SRB has rumoured Uganda and Morocco as future VS destinations ... Morocco is somewhat shorter haul ...

Are you sure isn't wasn't a rumpled SRB turning up to the interview stating he'd been "upstairs discussing Uganda"? ):

Morocco seems a bit odd; Marrakech at least is pretty well served by Ryanair and Easyjet.

Searching for Upper Class on MAN/MCO for April 2011 it was not showing as available on all dates. On those dates operated by 747 UC was showing but on all other dates - which A340 was assigned no UC seats were bookable.
So is MAN to get the A340? and, if so, when? and what is the configuration? Possibly no firm decision has been made on UC seating but maybe VS has decided to just operate these predominantly tourist/family routes with just Economy and Premium.
Is anyone in the know?

It has been confirmed that some of the new A330's that Virgin have on order will be delivered with a 2 class config (Y and PE) to be operated on certain leisuire routes, although it has not been confirmed which routes that will be yet.

Could the use of A340's for MAN-MCO be as cover for the 747s that are being refitted next year? When I booked MAN-MCO for next January the guy in the Flying Club call centre said the LGW/MAN fleet was finally being refitted starting next year, with a new entertainment system and the new PE seats.
Maybe this is why A340s are appearing on the schedule?
