Over to the gate and there was no real segregation when enplaning en masse - but we were straight up the stairs once through 2DL. Sparkling wine (at these fares they honestly cannot run to champagne?) service perfunctory (as would be the brandy and Bailey's round and the appearance of the *fruitbowl*) - at seat before take off felt like the first of several boxes ticked on the Crew task sheet. Not a particularly friendly cabin crew - God help economy with a much lower ratio of crew to Px.
One drinks round, then the meal service which was fine - only one glass of wine. Only one coffee or tea. Odessey seat-back video picture was not brilliant and it is so inferior to V-port. I find the fabric version PE seats huge - but they seem to get the back of your legs at the knee and the footrest is useless. Were they not so thick you might get a shade more recline too. Otherwise uneventful - but object to the paper cup and sandwich before landing. I think they could manage china in PE.
Dreadful immigration queues - 400+ Px just from our plane - and only 4 desks open. Big bonus was not to use VH transfers on arrival at BGI. Copped a taxi and were at hotel just over an hour after landing - not 2 1/2 like last time.
