Hopefully the powers that be will read this. It has taken me 3 days to register. Each time I went through the process I got a blank page saying "Invalid Token". I tried using the email address on the registration page to report the issue but that come back with

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. The following addresses failed:

<[email protected]>

SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command:
host v-flyer.com[89.145.92.161]:
550 No Such User Here"

The reg page suggests using the alternative form to register but doesn't say where it is!! v( v( v(

Eventually thanks to my good friend Google I found an alternative page and manage to register.

Sorry about the redirect page from PayPal - that's my oversight and I'll fix that.

The invalid token error, I am assured, is 90% of the time a cookie corruption, and can normally be solved by deleting the v-flyer cookies from within your browser preferences panel.

Pleased you made it over from FT, welcome.

(Pete, a number of other people over there are reporting the same "token" error. )

I don't hink that is the case. I've used 3 computers (1 desktop and 2 laptops) and all had the issue. I was connecting to the internet over home broadband, Vodaphone 3G and a hotel wireless.

For some reason my subscription has been cancelled and a full refund sent back to PP.

Check your Private Message box on your profile.

The challenge here is that ii've been unable to repeat the problem using setups similar to those describing the problem. I can only assume, therefore, that there's something else at play here which is interacting with the website code in some way to cause an error. The framework V-Flyer is Joomla, one of the most widely used CMS systems on the web, so there's a wealth of info out there relating to nearly every type of problem. Unfortunatley the flexibility of Joomla also means there's a thousand different combinations of how to configure it.

So, what would be useful to know is is there anything common between your three machines that wouldn't be considered as 'factory settings', ie, browser toolbars, extensions or other utilities that might be worth looking at. What settings do you have for Internet Privacy in your preferences - are they set low or high?

Hi there,

Just thought I should let you know that I experienced exactly the same issue as the first poster on this thread.

However, I did discover this:

If you try to create an account by following the link which is on the home page, half way down the right hand side, in the log in box, you'll get the invalid token page once you've filled in the forms and clicked 'next'

However, if you hover over the 'The Community' on the left hand side at the top of the home page, then click on 'Register' it will take you to another similar looking but different registration page.

As you fill in this page, it will give you a green tick if each field is acceptable (such as your username) and an indication of password strength. (Which the other link doesn't). Click on the 'register' button at the bottom of this page and it worked.

I too tried many times using the link on the right of the home page, and with no luck (I tried in both firefox and safari)

I know nothing about setting up websites, but I hope you find this information useful in fixing the bug.

An excellent website which I'm very glad I stumbled upon!
