FC redemption on VAustralia

Hi guys

can anyone advise whether the FC redemption miles for use on VAustralia are one way or return?

Particularly looking at MEL-LAX in J for next year as investigating an Alsakan cruise for o/hs 40th next year. I have enough DJ miles for a one J return reward. Or two PE singles and 1 J single.

FC seems to infer that the mileage required for VS miles is one way - but it's not clear to me in the way it is worded. Seems a call to V Australia is required ... let us know?
