For those who enjoy that sort of thing, Boeing put together a time lapse video of the manufacture of the first of BA's new Boeing 777-300ERs, see here.

Nice video - great looking aircraft. Not 100% sure that all the production line shots are of that specific aircraft, but it's well put together so doesn't matter!

Some would say Virgin made a bit of a screw up not choosing the B777-300ER over the A340/B747 mixed fleet.

We are painting window frames and other bits on our boat, our masking is shoddy and the finish can be patchy. Big, big respect to the painting people as that looks amazing,

Yeh I saw it over on a.net. Don't like the new Y seats unless they are a library shot and not the actual ones going in. It will have the new first installed and BA have realeased the routes she will be flying. IIRC DXB is first though could be very wrong.

Makes one realise how VS picked the dud aircraft choices some five years ago. The 77W would have been excellent choice something which I think VS realise given the VA experience. The words launch customer and VS won't be heard together after the 346 issues!

What were the issues with the 346 and why is this so much better than the 346? I missed all the talk back then about aircraft type so just really interested? y)
