Nope, as it's actually not that hard to hit if you're a frequent flyer. I know I don't fly nearly as regularly as some on here, and I clock up almost quarter of a million miles a year. You can, however, cash in your 1 million airmiles for a trip to Necker Island. I believe a flight in to space for 2 million.

But don't expect Richard Branson to walk on the plane and personally replace your gold card with an engraved solid platinum replacement when you hit 1 million.

Are you talking about a million points from flying, or a million Flying Club points? :D

Either way, I don't know if much happens, though I wouldn't be surprised at some sort of recognition of a million miles flown on VS metal - if they keep records like that?

I am currently around 1.4million flying club points lifetime, but only around 300K miles flown, and that is from around 90 VS flights (some of my flights were before Freeway - the first VS frequent flier programme. :| ).

I was told that to book the space flight that RK mentioned, you can only use points earned in the air - not sure if they have to be VS flights, but Amex or credit card miles don't count.

I believe you're right there Nick ... sounds like that Amex has done wonders for you too!

I'm currently on c. 940k miles from VS flights ... I don't think anything happens at the million mark, but will let you know.
