Has this stopped?
I seem to remember, Au members used to get a small miles bonus on their birthday ?| .
As I'm yet another year nearer old (as opposed to middle ) age today, a few miles might help cushion the blow but there's no sign of anything from FC.

I seem to recall that my card came a few days before my birthday, but i couldn't deposit the points as the code on the card wasn't working. i had to contact FC for them to do it for me. Only took a day or two.

I'm sure it will arrive eventually

Happy Birthday by the way :)

I got my card & 2k free miles in May.

Like Chumba, I couldnt activate the miles myself and had to contact FC. I seem to remember having the same problem in previous years.

I got mine in November the day before my birthday (I've just had a look at my accout) and I recall that I didn't have to enter the code as the miles just appeared. I was surprised at the time.

It was my birthday yesterday and the card arrived in the post. Entered the code on the website and got the 2k miles straight away. A nice gesture from FC I thought.

I am in the US and got my card a week before my birthday, it doesn't work easily as they have printed their own website link wrongly! there should be a hyphen between virgin-atlantic, and that is missing on the card link, so it leads to a dead end. duh.

however, correcting that (adding the hyphen) I get to the right page, only to find the code supplied doesn't work, BUT my suspicion is that maybe it has to be done ON my birthday - is that so? or is it a broken code?

I got mine a few days before my birthday , and the code would not work until the actual date.

It's a nice touch, and after 2 more years I'll have enough for a Y to W upgrade !
