ex-LHR Seat Requests wiped at T-13hrs

Didn't know how to put this in a title line but...

For all flights out of London Heathrow if you have not already checked in online then any seat requests you have in your booking will be wiped clean and the seats released back into inventory for anyone to pick.

Exceptions are UC, Premium Economy, US Watch List Pax (who can't check in online), Group, UMs, Special Assisance and sky cot requests.

This is effective IMMEDIATELY!

There has been a note stating this on the manage my booking page for a few months now.

Sorry, was just flagged up afresh today, haven't flown VS for months so haven't got to play with MMB!
