My holiday company has sent me a letter saying that Secure Flight info is being introduced on all flights to and from the USA from July 27th. I have been on the VA website and it tells me what Secure Flight Passenger Data is; what info is required but NOT how it is being collected or how I provide it. The person I spoke with at VA by phone said as far as he knew only APIS and ESTA are needed but my holiday company rep says SFPD is also required. Can anyone help please ?
Thank you.

Never heard of this, but after a quick Bing search, I found this this and this

It sounds likes data is now been collected from pax flying on domestic US internal flights as well. Do you have any internal US flights as part of your booking?

For international flights I *think* APIS should should already cover all this as it just mentions name, DOB and gender which is all part of your API info anyway.

You are already checked against various lists before you arrive in the US which is what APIS was put in place for anyway.

I'd just make sure you have entered all your APIS information.

Same is also included in ESTA but probbaly an IT issue getting all the systems talking to one another. I assume they will start to colelct a lot of this when you book rather than at check-in.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest. I just know how careful one has to be with US immigration. I do not have a US internal flight and have filled in my APIS and got ESTA sorted so I guess I am covered !
Best wishes,
Hiljil
