The reason for creating this poll is because a certain company that shall remain nameless ;-) have asked me what the V-Flyer interest is in this subject. Any comments you have about this idea would be valuable, so use this thread as a place to make your voice heard.

I can't see why this even needs a poll - the answer requires nil mensa!

Yes of course, for all sorts of reasons including miles earning and spending, recognition of status (although VX doesn't yet have that in its FF scheme IIRC), ability to book through-flights on the VS Web site and vice versa, use say of the Clubhouse say at JFK while waiting for a flight to LA, and to prove the platform / technology for adding in other V-branded airlines.

It can't happen soon enough.

Very interested for all of the reasons mentioned above

Long overdue but I guess there are Regulatory/License issues? Hopefully it will happen before too long. y)

Really would like to earn VS miles on VX rather than their own, which don't work that well for me. Would love my VS status to be recognized, and would like to be able to use VS lounges when taking a VX flight and at all airports not just some of them.

Frankly I have used CO over VX too - for the interlining and miles. Seems silly for Virgin Group to not offer better!

I can't actually see why they WOULDN'T do it? In a competitive market place, with lots of choice and no (current) incentive to fly with VX, why would I?

VX would be my default choice for US travel immediately, as it would then be for my staff (they wouldn't have any say in it!).

They should just get on with it and do it!

Am I missing something - I can't see which group of pax would lose out?

What your missing is the fact that every other North American carrier will try to block this, AS is bound to file (yet another) complaint with the FAA trying to show that SRB is really running the company.
