Just booking some travel - BAA staff permitting - and noticed a few things:

- I've now spent over 1 million FC points, 1,160,000 to be precise, which is quite a lot, and most come from actual flying and not CCs
- a PE W class fare to New York (JFK and EWR) has risen from £1,650 in May 2009, through £1,919 in September 2009 to £2,022 in June 2010 and currently £2,124 - that's quite some hike although a fair chunk is higher taxes I think
- you don't pay a CC fee if using a US registered credit card

Alex

Its more than just the taxes. the airport charges are also included here as well as the VS fuel surcharge (which really should be in the ticket price ...) The fule surcharge is a BIG part of it.

there is a table on wiki which has the rates of APD.
