Hi

It's always interesting to hear about discounts - but what's your average bill on whatever tarrif you're on?

My aged iPhone 1 - still working - I never pay more than £14 per month for - even with 'light' usage abroad

Surely the bill is more important than the 'discount' !

If you are talking to me about the discount thing then I don't actually have an iPhone I have an old nokia but was browsing and noticed that p17blo was on the same tariff as I am and I must say I only pay about £9 a quarter but then I have extremely limited number of work calls to make from my mobile and most of the other people that I contact are on the discounted friends rate.

There's very little room for negotiation with iPhone contracts. You basically get what you are given or lump it.

None of the networks will offer deals now with iPhone tariffs, especially the iPhone 4.

I personally am now on SIM-only and dont ever plan to have more than a 30 day contract.

Recently ported from O2 to Virgin (who THB, I'm not that impressed with actually) so I probably be looking to port to another again network soon.
