Sorry for asking such a thicko question but how do you go about cancelling a VS Amex card? I have checked their website but cannot find any info on how to cancel.
Is it a straight cut up the card and post back to them with a covering letter?

I feel I no longer get any useful benefit from the card anymore as my travel with VS is now non existant since most of my travel is with BA or *A and their reward options are rubbish. If I want VS I will just pay up front.

Thanks in advance

Iain

I just usually call up CS to cancel a card, request them to send a confirmation letter, and then cut up the card.

I'm not sure I would be 100% comfortable just posting it to them with a letter, whose to say they will receive it and process it correctly.

Yep, I'd second Neil's suggestion, that is basically what I did when I canceled my VS Amex. Always good to call them.

Thanks for the replies, I suppose I had better pay the bill first though :)

thanks again
