Managed to select seat on the morning of travel, thanks to HL for advice to check before we went to check in. Arrived Gatwick for twilight check in at 12.00 and got the seats 74A and C, very good seats that you could recline with no fear of upsetting anyone, the V-room was fantastic.

A/C was English Rose, an excellent flight all well before time and landed nearly an hour early very good touchdown best we have ever had. Crew were short of staff and kept announcing so, which meant not many drinks round. Food was actually very good, although could do without the wraps and heated bagels.

Overall very good and Virgin seem to have changed their food supplier giving a very noticeable improvement. Looking forward to the refit of LGW fleet, it is very much needed.

I was also on this flight and I agree it was an enjoyable one. I was in economy so a different experience than yours but the crew worked their hardest to ensure we were all fed and watered throughout
