The best thing about this flight was being in the bubble of the 747-400, very quiet and smooth (especially after having been right at the back of the last flight which was very bumby).
The worst thing was 11 hours of looping video, but at least it was on an individual screen whereas the Air Pacific flights from Hong Kong to Nadi (11 hours on 767-300) and Korean Air from Seoul to Nadi (10 hours on 330-200) both still have just a projection screen and drop downs! (Makes NOVA look good)
The seats were OK, very tired fabric offerings that looked like they had seen a lot of action. The interior of the cabin had odd things here and there with Asian script and if you looked hard enough you could find a few SQ logos so I think that they must have bought a second-hand interior from when SQ were doing product upgrades.

I watched a few films, caught the end of Karate Kid on a loop but just tried to sleep as much as possible. You arrive at 5am on this and we had a full day once we got there so needed to try and sleep.

The cabin crew were OK, if a little surley, not what I expected from the "World's Friendliest Airline", I think one of them was having a bad day and it affected the other up there. The food was pretty standard, I can't remember what it was but no complaints. We were a bit upset not to get Fiji Water but it seems that they had got through it all on the outbound.

Coming in to land was cool, it wasn't exactly light but you could see reefs and things on the way in. A short airbridge on to a balcony that is open to the elements, as it never gets cold in Fiji, I presume this is all you need. Immigration in Fiji was the complete opposite to the US, very friendly people,
and easy to get through and then we were in!
Time for the hard work of inspections and expereinces to start!
