How many forms do you have to complete now to get into the States? Last time we went there was a green one and a white one. Do we still have to fill in so many with all the new
Estas and all the info Virgin collect before hand and also the holiday company.

All you have to complete now is the white Customs form. The ESTA has replaced the green 1-94 form so no more slips stapled into your passport. The info collected beforehand for you APIS will be there at the airport when you check in or may be verified by the check-in agent

Last time I went through US Customs (Feb 2010) the printing was BLUE on a WHITE background though in a certain light it was 'white with a hint of blue' !

Thought this pdf on the CBP website there is a fair bit of grey too !

Shows our perceptions and memories! I would have described them as white with a dark blue heading totally ignoring/forgetting about the main body of the text :o) But then, I'm old and blonde :D

Has the green form defintely gone then?
Did my ESTA in January when I was in Orlando and still had to fill out the green form then. Remember missing out the bottom part that I assumed was for official use only and had to step aside along with the family in front of me to complete that bit as well.

Yes, it has gone. There was a program in the early summer that rolled out its removal from airports across the US.

When we flew to SFO in the summer I got a bit nervous as people were still frantically completing them in the queues. I held my nerve and no green form was requested by the agent - the ESTA had done its job.
