Arrived at T3 UC check in approx 3 hours before check in, there were a few people waiting to check in so we were ushered "up stairs" where we were immediately checked in. Time from check in to Clubhouse was certainly no more than 10 minutes. This was my partners first visit to the Cluhouse & she was certainly impressed. We enjoyed a very good full breakfast accompanied by a few glasses of champagne. Unfortunately I was not able to get the haircut I had hoped for, as chairs were empty every time I looked over I can only guess that there were staff shortages. Left Clubhouse on second call & were straight onto aircraft via a dedicated UC jet way. Experianced quite a bit of turbulance on journey. Food served was adequate but certainly not memorable. We enjoyed a couple of glasses of bubbly at the bar where we were the only passengers.

FSM was evident several times during the flight but did not introduce herself and as a Gold Card holder I was not welcomed back on board.

Immigration at JFK was painful with probably a 40 minute wait.

Flight was generally pretty good but UC seating not ideal when travelling with partner.

If anyone is looking for a romantic restaurant in New York I can recommend "One if by Land Two if by Sea" in the West Village, expensive but IMHO woth every penny.

Thanks for the TR and pleased to hear your partner enjoyed the CH. I hate reading that treatments were not available as it is advertised as a key part of the CH experience, but must admit that from feedback it seems to work for many on here.

Thanks for the TR y)

Shame about not getting the haircut, but as you say it could have been down to being at the weekend :?

I do hope your partner gained a favourable impression of the bar though
