Yup! Had three inches this morning which was unusual given that we are right beside the sea.

Was supposed to fly LTN - GLA this morning but cancelled due to colleagues around Glasgow (office is 15 miles outside city) saying not to come due to diabolical conditions.

In the home counties we've got a little dusting but mainly it's just solid frost!

We had about 5" yesterday and another 1" so far today in a very snowy Hull, and it has just started snowing again.

No snow (yet) in Cental London ! Of course as soon as we get a single flake the media will go into overdrive and it will be 'SNOW CHAOS' and as it's London it will automatically be worse than anywhere else in the realm.

Just a dusting here in Cambridgeshire. Glad I wasn't trying to get up to Edinburgh today - had reports that trying to get the Linlithgow office was "challenging".

Normally the answer would be no, but as I'm 200-odd miles north of the arctic circle right now, the answer is "lots". North pole winds blowing down onto northern Europe right now, it seems, making it considerably colder even here than it usually would at this time of the year. It's been about -12 on the coast, -20 inland out here.

Only a light dusting here this morning in Manchester, was -8 when I left at 4ish this morning. I can't be doing with it, I HATE the cold and snow!

Luckily I've had the electrician round today to fix my heater, was almost as cold in here as it is out there!

Just landed at Heathrow on VS201 :)

Very light snow... although according to the Captain at one point it was looking like a diversion to Prestwick (this was in his flight plan) which would not have been good

Had another few inches here last night. Just glad I'm off work all this week.

You might want to check your flights if you are flying from MAN today as there looks to be several cancellations, although I've no idea what the weather is actually like at MAN.

It looks as if it's the weather at the destination airports that are causing many of the cancellations. Edinburgh is shut, and it looks as if Duesseldorf, Munich, Copenhagen, Basel and Milan Malpensa are all experiencing problems.

A light dusting in rural Oxfordshire but it hasnt melted yet and with the forecast not getting above freezing over the next couple of days I expect it won't shift for a while yet.

I am hoping it stays as it is until at least Sunday as I need to drive over to see my Mum on Saturday and I can see the conditions being hellish.

I spoke far too soon, just as I was heading to work this morning it was really snowing it down, and as I was the first to drive on it (it was about 03:25) and there was about as much salt on the roads as there is on my chips I had a rather fun drive to work this morning...

I took the dog round the field this afternoon and I was in a mini blizzard for about 45 minutes, then it went back to snowing speckles. This was near LHR.

It has been like that here in Salisbury.

So where are all the gritters??? Why are we still struggling, even on main roads (I won't mention side ones - which is where a huge proportion of us have to get to, let's face it).

Oh I know - there were no warnings of the approaching snow... :( ):
