VS Government Contract

From the cabinet office release of Minsterial Travel the cost of the PM and officials VS charter to Toronto for the G8/20 was £ 303,006.

Just posting for information as I recall people asking about the contract when it changed to VS from BA

Only 23 officials with minister - was that an empty flight and/or were the media given free tickets?

I wonder how much of that £303,006 was the Minister's accomodation.

Well I guess his chums the Chancellor and Foreign Secretary were with him too but 23 in total does seam excessive.

Don't think the accomodation would be too much of the total as it was less than a week and I think the Canadians (as host) probbaly sorted that.

I suspect that the Chancellor & Foreign Sec. may have had their own declarations.
Surely the 23 will be officials only, not politicians.
