just watching the news & it crossed my mind whether UC passengers are able to camp out in the clubhouse & continue to enjoy all the amenities while flights are delayed & cancelled or do they get thrown out eventually?

seems to be a couple of days in the LHR Clubhouse wouldn't be such a hardship 8D

I can't imagine for one minute that any airline would allow pax to camp overnight in business lounges. I would guess that once the staff go home they will kick everyone out.

Dont forget as well that if flights are closed/cancelled they won't allow pax airside anyway.

I don't really understand why BAA are supposed to supply anything - they are only the airport and not the airline. The pax contract is with the airline not the airport. They have been telling people not to go to the airport yet the numpties still turn up.

Just like the people who turned up hours and hours early for their Eurostar trains (despite being told to come the usual time) yet moan that Eurostar havn't supplied blankets or heaters and that the queues are too long!
